MechWarrior: Living Legends

I just got mw4 mercs. But I hear microsoft completely shafted all the players and disabled the multiplayer, but a patch is available that reroutes the players to a multiplayer base that does support it.

any idea where to find this patch or if not how to just get the multiplayer working?

Not sure about that ... we start our own servers atm. Will give you details once they are up.

Hes talkin about a small batch file that changes a reg key to point to the mektek server instead of zonematch. www.mektek.net will have it. They will prob have it in the same spot as the mekpaks. If not jut search the forums.

I guess no mp for me now, I actually don't own a legit copy. I have the ISOs for it, installed it like that and I used the no-cd patch to play.

Yeah the mektek mech packs will ONLY work with a legit copy.  Check out amazon.com you should be able to find one easily.

I had the same problem Mas.  I think I might have replaced my exe foolishly.  Anyway, dug out the discs again, reinstalled, updated to point release 1, and then tried the mech packs again.  Worked like a charm.
