$20 at Gamestop?
That was just a short-time offer I think.
Gamestop actually says 40$ als Download, and 30$ for Warhead (Disc & Download).

Hello,

does anyone have any experience with gameservers.com?
I think their price is nice ... and think about renting a server once MW:LL is out.

Or do you have any other gameserver host in mind that is cheap but good?

Thanks for your advice Wink

I'm open to liberal interpretation of the idea.  Having them light up a half second early would be cool too.

Indeed. A quick light up before the blast, out of the corner of your eye you see a glow and than BAM! Hit with a PPC.

I love these Advent doors, it's like Christmas every day. Cheesy
Everyone is always complaining but lags and not hitting people. But that would be the effect if you'd fire you weapon, but the weapons glows up and then fires.
As Diablo mentioned before: the game can't read your mind and know that you are about to fire you weapon to let them glow or blink or anything else.

I also don't think they need to glow brighter. Remember that Hollander/Cougar pic in the snow. The weapons are shining bright enough I think.

Great!
Sounds like a mixture of MW2 and MW2Mercs but "fresher".

Soundtrack should be sold on CD. Cheesy

Yeah great pic although I like the one with the jumping (and failing) 'Mech a bit more which is by background at the moment.

Crytek!
If you are reading this I think you should provide some animators due to this biz case:
Cuz it is going to sell massive amounts of Crysis.

This is very true, I built a new PC and getting Crysis just for this mod alone.
Upgraded to Core2Quad + new graphics (Radeon 4850 Toxic) for MW:LL.
There should be some support from the hardware industry Cheesy

Living in the country with the worlds best beer can't be shitty anyway. Cheesy

Would be glad to have such an Sandobx 2 introduction at our school. Cheesy

If Blizzard would take hands on this game this is what it would look like:
- you pay twice for the game, once for the inner sphere and once for the clans and you'll have to wait again a few years ... but will get only one part ... the next part somewhere later
- you would pay a monthly fee
- BattleTech would become pink , green and other fancy colours
- when a 'Mech "dies" it would become a ghost and fly to the point of "death" to resurrect
- you would have to pay for any new 'Mech and Map as this is a major update to the game content

Blizzard has a lot of money - but why? Because they take it away from us.
It doesn't just appear because a game is so great (by the way WoW isn't great .. well perhaps for stupid 12 year old kids with too much money)

I don't think anyone will realize the 'different' cockpit of the Atlas when he's getting owned by one ... or two ... of them.
And I like the Cockpit. It's not really far away from the "skulldesign".
You see this 'Mech and know ... this is an Atlas and he's looking awesome. What more do you want?

SCFA ist great Smiley There are also some nice mods like this XP Mod which makes "old" and lowlevel units much more worthy.

Yes. The MWLL installation does not affect Crysis in any way. You'll still be able to run Crysis just as before.
so, not all that good to begin with *grins*
and who cares about crysis with this mod anyway? O.o
this is up there with mektek, only better and certainly nicer looking ^^

i have to make to with 2.5 to 3.5MBit DSL <.< . .
so 2 Gigs is pretty hefty . . but heck, so worth it!
i just bought an 800€ LapTop to run this Mod with, and the Laptop is quiet enough to let it download for the whole night ^^

i'll try and find some mirror sites for it . . maybe if i pay my buddies some hundret bucks each, they will host the complete thing including HTTP/FTP, eMule and torrent support . .

also: is hueg liek x-bawks!
2 GB should need less than 2 hours at 2 / 2.5 MBit.
I think the developers said that there will be fast mirrors so there's no need to pay your friends.
And if another mirror is really needed just let me know. Wink
