Didn't the Gauss kinda look like that in te MechCommander Games?
i am pretty sure that i have seen those rings of doom somehwere before O.o
as for the atlas cockpit: i don't like it, but i can see the deisn point in it . .
and i don't plan to spend any time where i can actually look at it in game ^^

There's nothing new about the Atlas' cockpit design - anyone who's played the tabletop game and owned miniatures would know the art on the card backing depicts the atlas exactly like that. http://mupo.info/mekwars.org/slideshow/images/slideshow/atlas.jpg

PS: Great job on everything so far.

I don't think anyone will realize the 'different' cockpit of the Atlas when he's getting owned by one ... or two ... of them.
And I like the Cockpit. It's not really far away from the "skulldesign".
You see this 'Mech and know ... this is an Atlas and he's looking awesome. What more do you want?

32 views and 1 reply.  Ouch, looks like new headset it is.

I originally got the USB headset because my soundcard didn't play nicely with a mic and headphones in teamspeak.  It caused massive feedback and ruined the hearing of everyone in the channel.  I don't know what I'm going to do for TS in MWLL.   Angry

I think the Atlas cockpit looks great. Old models be damned, this is a Future GAEM, can't be living in the past all the time. We can just pretend it's a new Atlas version anyways. Cuz it is.

Well, some of us rather liked BattleTech how it was...changing for the sake of change isn't necessarily a good thing.

Anyways, sounds like it was a change necessitated by design parameters, and that's completely understandable. And it does still overall look quite good.  Smiley

Bah, no change is boring as heeeeeeelllll.   Wink

But that atlas size comparison is shocking.  The sense of scale in this game is going to be intimidating to first time players, and it's going to take a lot of nerve running around in just BA.   Shocked
