that looks like somthing a tech in the outer pirate kingdoms would cobble together from several mechs . .
Radar from Rifleman, Torso from . . Catapract or Templar . . Arms from Warhammer but instead of PPC there are Gauss . .
Legs from an Atlas . .
basically, it's an older and lighter cerberus

Wow 16 pages and nobody has mentioned the Urbie!!! Was expecting by now that this thread would be full of tales of the Locust Swarms and Urbie Bumrushes.  Still nice to see that the Bushy fans have made an appearance Smiley

Like Marik and Kuritan 'mechs the most, and two of my all time favourites are already in the game!!!  Wohooo!! (Mauler is top dog, with the Awesome as a close second, use a Mauler with Armour screen and you'll see why).

For Clan 'mechs, (once you've got the smell out of the cockpit, puts you right off bacon) the Timberwolf Prime is king, feels so good and hurts at all ranges.  Love the Hellbringer but I'd probably end up in a Stormcrow.

Yes, thats the same - a lot of clan Mechs have Inner Sphere nicknames.
So, a clanner will call this Mech "Summoner", since thats the official clan name, and a Inner Sphere warrior will call it Thor.

Btw, does "Urbie" mean http://www.sarna.net/wiki/UrbanMech? Never heard that name before...

jep, urbie is the cutened nick for the tin-trash-can . .
also, it's even worse with the mech names in germany . .
there's inner sphere and clan names in english AND then additional GERMAN names for both inner sphere and clan . .

A Lance of Urbanmechs is actually pretty devastating. They have enough armor to survive some heavy weapon fire and bringing 4 AC/10s to bear on a single target can spell death really quick.  Of course, a popular modification was to rip out the AC/10 in favor of a PPC and some medium lasers and heat sinks.

I don't like running around in an R2-D2 wannabe ;P
My favorite is still the Uziel, good firepower, good speed and enough armor to take some heavy hits.
And I like the looks^^
