Yes I think most of us have seen this and it's a very well made video. We also have plans to make a similar video about the Clan Invasions using only our mechs in the video.

Yeah once we have the mechs in game this will be no problem to make almost a documentary of the story. It will be good players new to the Battletech universe. I love that video btw we've all seen it a few times i think Cheesy

One. All the guy did was splice together all these games movies together. Most music videos that have video games don't even record actual ingame action, just rip off the cutscenes. The Idea of this movie is good but the method is unoriginal.

Hey guys,

Yeah, I created that video in oh.. 2002/2003? I was glad someone uploaded it to youtube and have been amazed at the response. Something that's not readily apparent is the reconstruction of soundfx in almost all of the videos/splices.  At the time I felt them lacking and decided to redo quite a bit of them or add on to the originals. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it and that it's been around the community for so long!

If you ask what I've been doing lately, well I had joined MechwarriorMovie.com last year (however they didn't even update me to the staff list) to do 2D animations, such as the HUD and other visual effects, but the leadership of that team died out. A lot of the animations had been finished and the opening sequence was animated (including mechs walking/running). I've since improved my skillset since that video and have expanded into 2D animations and meddled with animation in Maya and 3DS Max.

Other than that, I've been playing a lot of Military simulation FPS (Operation Flashpoint and Armed Assault) and hoping that one day Mechwarrior is revived or a project busts through the stagnation curse.

It's good to see MW:LL has moved to the Crysis engine as I whole heartedly believe this engine can handle it and it looks like you guys are just as dedicated to making it as the Crysis team is to their game! I'm enjoying the extremely detailed models Smiley

Anyways, just checking in and if you guys need a video editor let me know, I still keep my skills up via some Shack Tactical videos..

Hey Landros,

That's an awesome video you created and edited. It really summed up the history of the BT up to the Clan Invasion very well! As stated above, we wanted to make a video around the same or similar theme. I know that Slava wanted to make a teaser, and if you're willing we would love to bring you on as one of our video editors. I'd love to get in touch with you on MSN (my MSN - psycho_crackman@hotmail.com) cause I have lots to talk to you about Smiley.

To be honest, it wouldnt have happened if someone named G-Loc hadn't created the original original video of it. His needed some major reworking and I think he was working all from Flash (which produced a terrible quality) and one day I just happened to be listening to that song while watching and it just hit me that his premise was good, but it needed a huge increase in quality!

I've added you to MSN Kamikaze, talk to you soon!
