Forgoten Hope 2, a WW2 mod for BF2, is being released tommarow. Looks alright, I'm going to dust off BF2 again (wow, I havn't played BF2 in 8 months..) and check it out.

I downloaded the password protected torrent already as TOP will be giving it a try, but I'm not fully sure yet if I'll be installing BF for that again.

I kept reading about flank shots and using ATRs against parts of the tank, but I cannot find any confirmation that they are doing anything beyond the standard Battlefield "hitpoints" for vehicles. If they are truly modeling armor penetration then I will be all over this. Otherwise...meh.

Another WW2 mod and a bad one at that. Everyone I talked to so - including myself - was extremely disappointed.

yup..installed and played it for a few hours. Its terribly inbalanced. I understand that they want realism, but come on if you die every three second from a tank that is virtually indestructable by infantry (AT rifle dosn't do crap..) The maps game flow for the most part are really poor as well, you end up walking back and forth in the same little area for teh entire match, which also lasts too long. The only thing I likes was that the planes you could shoot down easily enough with AA.
