What would you say your most anticipated game of 2008 is? There's a lot coming, Starcraft 2, Warhammer Online, Spore, Left 4 Dead and Far Cry 2 just to name a few. I've tried to get into Starcraft, because I have a thing for the "classic" FPS fragging and RTS resource-collecting and rushing games, but can't seem to appreciate Starcraft. I'm hoping it's because I couldn't (and still can't) get over the graphics, so maybe I'll be able to have as much fun with Starcraft 2 as everyone else is having with Starcraft. I played a multiplayer demo at Blizzards' GenCon setup this past summer, and it just felt so, so, so like the exact same thing, but it may have been that the other people playing were probably at GenCon for three days just to play it and repeatedly obliterated me. Me and a few of my friends are really looking forward to L4D, and I'm hoping that'll be what the press says it is.

On PS3 and Xbox360, not on the PC. PC estimated release date is late February.

One thing I'm hoping to see this year is word on the next Crysis. Chevat Yerli has said that they planned it as a trilogy, and I would be very disappointed if Crysis wasn't continued after that ending. I'm a little worried, though, because Crysis didn't have phenomenal sales, however, by the time the next one comes out peoples hardware may have caught up/

Assassin's Creed isn't really that great... Not very much essence to it after you play past the 2nd Assassination... It all turns into this repetitive mini-mission grind fest making you do the same thing over and over until you finally get to your target. The difficulty in this game is next to nill since it's a one button combat system and only one guy comes after you at a time. You even regenerate health quicker than a fat kid eats a cheese burger.

I've stopped playing it after the 3rd Assassination since I hope that the story would pick up, but my hopes taken by Ubisoft and punted out the window.

Honestly, if you like repetitive grinds with no challenge, then this is the game for you.
