I know you guy's have far more important things to implement but I thought I'd just throw this into the pool of ideas as it's a very cool piece of Equipment. Basically I was wondering if there will be any support for the use of Track IR when piloting Mechs, it's used mostly in flight sims and I use it a lot. It adds amazing situational awareness to the fight and I figured it would make an awesome addition to this mod. Not sure if there is any engine limitations on incorporating this. A quick run-down of Track IR for those who don't have it or know of it, basically Track IR allows users to move their own "RL Head" and have their in-game head to perform the same movement essentially it's a way of moving your view without the use of keys or joystick hats, very useful once you get used to it. Has this been considered before? Has anyone on the dev team got one of these puppys?

Oi! That would be an awesome thing to have. For more information you can check out their site. Be sure to check out the Black Shark demo video showing how it can be used in a virtual cockpit environment.

I think I've mentioned it before, same thing with the steel battalion controller. Its something talked about but would definintly be one of the last things we do (too much to do already, unless we get someone who happends to know how to make it work.)

Yeah I thought as much, totally understandable, especially considering the limited amount of people that would take advantage of the feature.

Yeah I've seen those before, but there not exactly implemented into the games, where as Track IR is somewhat established in the market and has been for a few years. Not so much with FPS's but it's a must have for Combat Simmers. Good to see someone rooting for it then

I thought that when you look to the side, you look away from the screen, and so you can't see what you turned your head to look at.

The movement's are exaggerated in game otherwise that would be the case. You can create profiles for each game so you could have it assigned to MWLL that you move your head slightly and "your in game head" could turn a full rotation. It's all down to user preference.

Those are some exciting prospects for the future of gaming, and would be an awsome addition to MWLL possibly in the future.
But I always wondered, why dont games simply make use of multiple monitors? I have 2 monitors and could easily make it 3 or more with what exists for displays on the market now. Then you could have for example, a front view monitor as well as 2 side view monitors as they do in real simulators. Likely the drivers and current graphics hardware would have difficulty handling this, but cool is as cool does...lol

World in Conflict, for example, supports 2 displays in DX10 mode, even if one of them only displays a map of the current battlefield.

If I could afford 3 Monitors and a Video Card to go with it, I think I'd opt for a good Stereoscopic Head Mounted Display. Tho 3 screens would be badass tho I think I'd rather have the 105inch screen attached to my face.

How much did that Matrox piece hit you for? I thought they were pretty pricey...
