Name: (handle whatever)
Age:
Position: (whatever position you'd like to fill)
Past Projects: Please post any projects/screenshots/artwork that you have previously done.
Ties to Mechwarrior: Why do you like mechwarrior so much?
Other commitments: Whether you are part of a different mod team or competitive team or anything add that in too so we know how much we can put on your plate.
SAMPLES: All applicants must provide examples of their work so that we may asses your skill level for the positions you are applying for.
No one's asking for your real name as written on your birth certificate, your income, date of birth or sexual preference, but we need to know if other commitments will allow you to spend a reasonable amount of time on working on the mod and if you've got teamwork experience from real life work or work on other modding projects, if you're likely to be dedicated, responsible and experienced enough to stick to given tasks despite of obstacles that'll occur without a doubt (which, basically, excludes most people younger than about 18) and stuff like that.
MSN and teamspeak experience are additional requirements which are important to us because they improve communication a lot.
If you don't want to answer those simple and far from obtrusive questions, your skills for the position you apply for should at least be excelling.
None of the screenshots you posted here or linked to so far suggests you have experience in creating large outdoor levels for vehicle combat as you intend to do and would be required to for this mod. No one expects you to draw a second Mona Lisa, but you should either be able to draw a simple sketch/draft to explain your map or be able to write a brief yet more detailled description to help everyone visualize what your level is supposed to look like. Your extremely brief description isn't anywhere near a sufficient replacement for that. You either did not read it completely or did not understand death_grin's "Note to prospective level designers".
Not trying to sound rude or scare you off, but we have to make sure we're not wasting our time with people who aren't dedicated enough to keep up with the team's progress.
At this point, I'm pulling out of this thread as I assume lead level designer Death_Grin might be commenting on your application.
