Jetfire, were you disappointed that you could not find a mech with alot of RAC's in the stock configs?  Dont you have any other skills besides RAC's, which I can understand due to MWL and Empire League thats all you see... close up fights with mechs with the most RAC's wins.

Stock mechs take alot more skill, and can see why you didnt succeed at all in the game... not your fault, you just need training.

Thank You.

I was referring to my forums account... applied to under a different user name.

There seems to be just three main Units in ISW according to ChuckNorris formerly of Marik, he says its just FS versus Kurita and Liao.

is that true?  I'd love to be able to "get into" this game...but without more units, its too flat...so I'll stick with HC for now.

and Stinger,

I'll duel you anytime, anywhere, in any chassis, either in MekPak or HC.....not saying I'll win, but I sure ain't no noob pilot.

ISW training, yes, sure, could use that.  Not having armor on a 75Ton mech is kind of ridiculous though...that's what I like the least....makes for too easy of leg kills....

I'm sure you understand.

You dont need an email to get into the game, just the forums, but you can contact the admin in the game to set you up in the forums with a valid (yes yahoo too) email...

Those screenshots make me yearn for a strategic BattleTech game.  I wonder if Sins of a Solar Empire could be modded for such a thing?

On topic, the whole effort of ISW looks damned impressive.  While I will not be joining the fun, mainly due to time, I hope that you guys succeed and stay around for a long time to come.

/cheers

ISW is designed to be Modular where the combat engine portion is concerned. It can use ANY combat engine in any genre, assuming certain criteria is met by the Combat engine itself.

Here are a couple more screenshots, keep in mind these are FUNCTIONAL NOT CONCEPT.

This is friggin awesome! I wish the cryengine would be able to support that stuff ... it would be so amazing to actually play in that universe for a change and not only jump on servers, frag things and that's it. I would even try to free up some time to play that!

I was just browsing through the ISW page: Really cool stuff. I am impressed of what you did out of MW4! This whole thing would be great to extend to the Clan Wars and add MWLL to it. That would totally kick a$$.

All Clan worlds are supported. Clans CAN be added with sufficient player interest.

I would still play it if i had mechwarriors 4 mercs but i miss placed my copy...  Undecided

Other than that they usualy sell clan mechs to the players as a way to fund the game.
