The well known and celebrated Sci-fi writer and visionary Arthur C. Clarke  died early this morning at the age of 90. Rest in Peace

 Sad

I actually have one of his collection of short stories kicking around somewhere.
Some of the best literature I've ever read. And it's unheard of for me to call a Sci-fi authors work literature, but his certainly was.

He's not just writer. He was one of the creators of the radar during the WW2, for the R.A.F. He's also one of the creators of the concept of Geostationary orbit (Clarke's orbit). A real great man.

Indeed, I should not have limited his capabilities so much.

He was a visionary as well as an author, as he demonstrated in 2001 Space Oddessy
