Was curious if you guys had any plans in motion about balancing unarmored infantry versus 'Mech combat. From what I've read, its still mostly in the air.

Figured I might as well make a suggestion on the topic.

Main weakness of a 'Mech versus infantry, is visibility from the cockpit. Give the infantry water balloons filled with some hard to see through, sticky substance, and you can essentially block off the 'Mech's sight entirely, with good aim of course.

This suggestion, would probably take a bit more effort and coding, but if the window panes in the 'Mech could sustain damage to a certain point, you could essentially set it up for 2 or 3 high powered laser shots can go through the window, and into the pilot's head, leaving the 'Mech in almost perfect condition for a theft.

Something like those, would not only make playing as infantry against giant machines of doom a lot easier against the 'Mechs (I'd probably do that most of the time m'self.) but help foster some teamwork between the players, get one guy to balloon him, then get two others to alternately snipe the same spot with laser rifles. Battle armor would probably still wipe the floor with them, but then its more like rock paper scissors. Inf 4 shots a 'Mech, 'Mech sees the more noticable BA and hits it with a gigantic round of ammunition, and BA puts holes a'plenty into Inf.

Regardless, just a suggestion, and keep up the great work on this mod. Everything looks and seems amazing.

It is mostly in the air, because we decided not to have any infantry in the initial release because of those exact balancing concerns.
