Doubt it since they suffer from pneumonia really fast (or so I heard). So better keep em warm and cozy most of the time! Just a little cold and wet weather and they might call in sick ... and that always happens when you need their power the most!

Not something I considered, I was thinking of keeping the weight low, but it would be better than trying to strap a giant battery to the guy.

I suppose anything is better than a mains powered elemental though, its always hard to find a socket on the battlefield.

Not something I considered, I was thinking of keeping the weight low, but it would be better than trying to strap a giant battery to the guy.

Perhaps a really long extension cord?

They already have these in Japan, they were talking about using them in hospitals and nursing homes.  Theres a vid of some dude carrying 8 bags of cement each weighing 20 pounds or something and he said he couldn't even feel them.
