...(and amount of free time).
I did the gun in about 2 hours I think, I actually haven't gotten any frequent bits of time to work on it, but occasionally I get a fair amount of time and that's usually the day I'll post something.

I'm gunna probably do the claw next then I always add details to things as I work on others(and fix errors), so the back and underside of the gun will get some more details.

you guys like the TRO claw or the way I did the claw in my old model better.  I'm kinda leaning towards the TRO with a slight twist.

I like the TRO claw. Just because its mass and volume seem to have a nice symmetry with the laser.  That and I am curious to see your "twist".

so I have a claw with a wicked twist, but atm my program is acting up and it's not letting me "assemble" or merge files properly so I'm having problems getting the wicked claws attached Tongue  I'll work on it tonight and toss a render up soon.

ok, the claw is about halfway done, I've been having problems saving files after merging another file, so I may need to wait until I get my laptop back and redo this, I went with the 5 fingers and it's where I'm happy with it, I might and probably will change the back of that arm.  I will definitely be adding more detail to it, but here's a quick pic of the claw. beware the claw!

No wonder the BA clanners hate that thing so much.  It looks absolutely frightening.  Well done and keep it coming!

This isn't really an update beyond the fact that I now have my Laptop back and everything works fine now so I've got the claw in the same file and saved which was the issue before.  I think I've got it all in roughly the same places.  From this angle you can see a bit more of the claw and it's just a different view.  From this view you can probably see the potential for detail on the claw hand there, especially where it all attaches, I haven't gotten to do anything else on it because I was on a trip and would have had plenty of time to work on it if I wasn't so short on sleep the whole trip.

anyway, here's a shot from above the left shoulder, I may change the part of that arm that attaches to the shoulder, if you guys wanna toss in your 2 cents about it go for it, I've got some moderately "baked" ideas about how to do it differently, and wouldn't mind some feedback either for it or for a different way to do it (this is the area that attaches the can like hand to the shoulder, kind of the back of the arm).  Just realize the can-like part of the front part of the arm is gunna get a bit more details, right now the claws are just "there" not really "attached" mechanically, which is what most of the details will be.

added a pic of the back so you can see that side of the back part of the arm.  The thing is that with the way I've got it now it tucks nicely into the rest of it, but idk, it's probably ok as is, maybe I'll address it later if needed.  you can see the orientation of the fingers from this view, so if you guys see any issues with their placement speak quick before I finalize that and connect them mechanically to the "hand"

Loving every last detail.  It seems very well thought out.  Detailed but not cluttered, and it has a sense of scale.  I must have one!

played around with some ideas for detailing on the back.  I tossed in a sort of ladder and such, as well as some other random stuff like life support like systems, etc...  Tell me whatcha think, the dark areas are where the foot holds are, they aren't lit up by the lighting atm, I did finish the medium laser now completely and added some armor plating over the connection to the shoulder.  There's still a few details I'll add to the back, but here's what I got for now, I don't wanna go too far before I figure out whether or not I wanna keep the back like this.
