This news is pretty stale, but I haven't seen anything on here about it so I thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

The first new Classic Battletech Novel since End Game, Shadows of Faith by Loren L. Coleman, should be coming out in December.

The great thing about this is ROC is no longer going to be the publisher. This means there won't be word limits or other stupid restraints.  Hopefully this will mean a return to the quality of books published before the deal with ROC such as the Wolves on the Border and Heir to the Dragon.

A new Shadow Run and Mechwarrior Dark Age novel will also be released around the end of the year.

Hmmm, those might be worth a look.  I really like how Loren Coleman writes... well, I could say that for almost all of the authors, but he's second on my list of favorite authors, Mike Stackpole being first.
