3 people would be alright so long as the pilot was in an exposed cockpit wearing a hockey mask, neckbrace, and S&M gear and the 2 other players were enemies chained to the front of the mech.

Bravo my good man, Mad Max Call 4tw.
I counter you with a Prowler, from Planetside.

The Prowler really was a PoS.  You would expect for them to make the heartiest tank take the most people, but instead they took the weakest tank and forced you to pile 3 deadmen into it to operate it.  Loved the kill spam when I decimated those things.

Well, it's slightly like thread necro, but I'd like to point out that the King Crab (IS 100-tonner, i think-- Katrina Steiner-Davion had one, I believe) did have a double cockpit, but I'm pretty sure very few if any mechs did, and furthermore those mechs are unlikely to be in the game. Besides, the double cockpit was never necessary, just a backup feature, I think.

The Battlemaster also has a double cockpit, although the "copilot" seat was nothing more than an elevated  place for field commanders who wanted to be really really close to battle with first row seats to the carnage, loaded with various comm equipment for unit coordination, and a stick for rudimentary movement controls to allow said commander to dust off in case the pilot was incapacitated/killed. Most Battlemasters outside the Successor State regular armies had the seat and clutter of comm equipment swapped for better sensor and targeting arrays, or C3 units. This leads to the common misconception that the mech has an enormous cockpit, and that the pilot is an easy target.

no

haha fast answer.

I would have to agree also.  Even though I have VERY little say so.

This would be cool.. but you cannot look around in game like you could IRL to be a "spotter" so to say

Unless you could integrate something like TrackIR which would be awesome.

Spyro, that clip showing the pilot in the cockpit is just what I would like to see from inside the ´Mech. The pilot sitting tightly packed in hardware all around. Nice Grin
