Who ever said FFA is fund due to the hardware you have is correct, nothing more fun than hearing a fafnir pilot shed a tear while you scratch his paint job with your flea/raven...

But I still would rather see Team matches finished first ^^

Basically yes. As expected, it's of lower priority to the community, so there won't be FFA in the initial release, but it's likely to show up in a later update.

Yeah, you definitely is on to soemthing there!

primary agenda = make mod playable for the masses in a simple version
second agenda = implement more candy!
third agenda = let people be sucked in by the "hidden messages"
fourth agenda = (actually this is the primary agenda) world overtaking begi...

Same here..99% of the time it is all Team based, objective based games, but it is nice to be able to have the choice to switch the rounds to an FFA map or a TDM map to blow off steam..Smiley

I agree, I hardly ever played FFA and enjoy working together as a unit, instead of some rambo type renegade mechwarrior.

Sorry, came late to this discussion.

No one has mentioned vehicles other than mechs.  I'm assuming they would be available and that would change the flavor of FFA a lot.  Just something to keep in mind.

I never played FFA very much.  I'd occassionally jump into a game, but my preference was always teams.  FFA is good for practice, though.

For me personally, it'd be an extremely low priority.  I could live without it, and I'd hate to see other more important stuff get pushed aside for it.  Just my 2 c-bills.
