I apologise if this has been answered in another thread but i did a search and could not find it.
All your beautiful renders have been of glorified Mechs and it may seem i bit strange but I'm slightly disappointed, i want to see the horrific state of these mechs when they've been ripped apart by missiles. Basically i was wondering if you have done and models of mechs after they have been destroyed? or will you be leaving these for a later date.
regards
John

To a certain extent, this has been answered already in a slightly different context. As far as I know, we are not having any plans on Mech - or other vehicles - wrecks remaining on the battlefield. This is, not least, for performance reasons.

What about damaged mechs?  Will there be mangled metal sticking out when an arm blows off, and are there any plans for animated effects like sparks and fluid spills after an arm is gone?

The mechs will have destroyed models of course. Also each component that is destroyed off a mech will either be removed (like an arm) or will react differently (the legs for example start limping). There isnt any morphing with a damaged model like you would see in UT3, but the removal of the components is much cooler Cheesy
