Was in the MP Beta, so  I don't know about SP...
But MP is fun, if you can deal with rushers.
Wacky units (APC with a big cannon, can shoot infantry over obstacles and such. Already kinda weird, but if you've got bear infantry too it becomes utterly hilarious, moving into your enemies base and dropping bears all over the place xD ), nice graphics, especially the water effects, everything else is the usual.
If you like C&C you'll like RA3 Wink

One thing that bugged me however, although it was the last Beta stage, some units seemed kinda unbalanced, dunno if they worked on it afterwards.

Unfortunately I will be passing on this one.  While I loved the original C&C in its day, the allure is now lost to me.  Besides, there are too many other games I haven't even gotten to yet.  Wink

Agreed.  I'd love to play it... only for the really crazy wacky storyline, the style, the sexy water effect, the live cutscenes, and the good ol' units+types of maps I used to love in RA2.

Unfortuantly, the gameplay from C&C3 was horrible to me, and I suspect this one is aswell, seeing as they are about the same thing so I'll be passing on this one just like I did for C&C3 (even though I loved the atmosphere/story backdrop for it).

Yup, very similar. Although the different factions are actually more diverse than the ones in C&C3.
A basic tank rush can be done with any of them, but compared to C&C3 there are more options.
The Japanese light tank can travel over water for example, so someone fighting against them has to be aware of that too.

But I haven't bought it yet either (and probably won't) as there are imho far more interesting games out or coming soon...
