Hey I am tryin to get back into Mech 4!!! Anybody wana join me,well first of all you need Mech 4  Mercs!!!

There are these AWSOME user patches called MechPak coutecy of or pals MekTek!!!But we all know that right!!

Well if anybody wants 2 play tell me!

No, no and no. Been there, done that. Already played Mech 4 for 5 years and I'm quite sick of it thank you. Besides the old graphics and same old game play, I never liked the mektek community.

Yeah I heard the same thing about MSN Zone and Mechwarrior. Apparently Mektek is running the multiplayer main server now. As for the "10% prospective player base" if you're meaning the mektek fans Towelly, I doubt I blew anyone away. Hardcore mektek fans will stay with what they're obsessed with. Like Captains going down with their ships.

I also love it how other Mech communities are so disrespectful and attempt to bash down other communities that attempt to blossom. Also that they think they are greater than others by withholding what they learned and never released it to the public makes them hold a monopoly on the mod. With communities like that who would want to play their game anymore? Not me thanks.

Edit: Don't get me wrong though. I loved MW4/Mercs when it originally came out, and even the first mektek patch was decent. I played the game for 5 years but it just got so old with people bitching about being legged, armed, and all this nonsense.

I still play Mech 3 & 4, all incarnations of them.

Not sure about mechcommander 2 mods, but there is a decent Mech mod for Command and Conquer Generals called "The Capellan Solution"
