Basic description

Easily identified by its squat torso and jutting head, the Warhawk is often referred as the walking apartment building. First spotted along the Kurita borders massacring outpost after outpost, which in turn gave it its Inner Sphere nickname by the DCMS – the Masakari.

The most familiar configuration of the Warhawk carries two Extended Range PPCs in each arm and a potent LRM 15 launcher on its left shoulder. Aided by the Enhanced Optics mounted on its nose, the Warhawk can deliver its payload with deadly accuracy.

The Warhawk appears most frequently with the Smoke Jaguars, who often pair it with a Dire Wolf.

Outline

Players will find the Warhawk to be an excellent choice for heavy sniping capabilities. Equipped with 4 Extended Range PPCs and Enhanced Optics for stronger zoom, the Player has little to fear about ammo shortages. However, PPCs generate considerable heat and firing all four at the same time is ill-advised as it may trigger a core meltdown. Often, the Player will find himself lucky to keep the heat levels in check to always trigger a shutdown instead of the fatal alternative.
