Outline
The Anhur uses a tilt-rotor design, giving it V/STOL capabilities. Capable of taking off or landing without the benefit of a prepared runway, the vehicle is suitable for delivering supplies directly to units in the field. This role all but guarantees encounter with enemy troops, and so the Anhur carries a formidable array of weapons. Pair of nose-mounted extended-pulse lasers provides both range and volume of fire, allowing the Anhur to discourage threats on the ground and in the air. Recently the Anhur has also been equipment with SRM launchers on the sides of the nose that have been custom made to handle the specific M83-Smoke SRMs. Designed to cover the landing and takeoff of the Anhur, the M83-Smoke SRM can be fired directly at the location the pilot wishes to provide smoke cover from direct line of sight weaponry.
