Lead Artist


    Ideally you will have:
  • Next-gen lead experience on either previous mods or shipped titles
  • Strong team management and interpersonal skills
  • Solid next-gen modelling skills are required
  • Understanding of Normal Mapping techniques in either Maya, Polybump or Max
  • Creative thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to work well under direction, as well as conceptualize
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of initiative.

    Bonus Abilities
  • Broader knowledge of all 3D art techniques is an advantage.
  • Cross-discipline experience is an advantage
  •  

    Senior Environment Artist


      Ideally you will have:
    • Previous work on either mod's or shipped Titles is a must
    • A passionate interest in computer games.
    • An ability to set and meet goals to a deadline
    • Experience in creating a variety of different high quality assets including environments and textures.
    • An excellent working knowledge of 3DS Max and/or Maya including modelling and texture generation based techniques.
    • The ability to explore new techniques whilst keeping up-to-date with new technology.
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of initiative.


    Senior Animator


    Responsibilities include:
    Work within the animation department, creating and implementing all animations for the game, meeting technical, quality and artistic requirements. Working under the Lead Animator and alongside other senior animators. Creating both in-game and real-time cuts-scenes high quality animations. Working with hand key framed animations and motion capture files. Character rigging and weighting.

      Ideally you will have:
    • Proven skills in realistic animation of the human form.
    • Excellent and demonstrable animation skills including a strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals (squash and stretch, staging, timing, anticipation, exaggeration)
    • Extensive knowledge of rigging.
    • Knowledge with IK/FK rigs and animations.
    • Ability to rapidly learn and assimilate new technologies
    • Extensive experience with 3D Studio Max or Maya.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Passion for games.
    • Good self management.
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of initiative.

    Graphics User Interface Design Artist


      Ideally you will have:
    • Proficiency producing Interfaces and in Interface theory.
    • Good experience using Photoshop and drawing/design skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate creative concepts and take art direction.
    • Experience of quality control including a keen eye for detail in all areas from artwork through to finished piece.
    • Positive communicator with the ability to work with staff from all areas of the project
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of initiative.


    Senior Technical Artist


    Ideally, the candidate is versatile, enthusiastic and actively extending their expertise technically and as an artist.

      Responsibilities
    • understanding technical process required to implement game assets
    • creating and implementing technical information for models
    • implementing models in game
    • assisting senior artists with developing tools and methodologies
    • creating 3d assets for the game


      Ideally you will have:
    • experience with at least one 3d package (3ds Max, Maya etc) ability to create good quality 3d art assets and textures (props and architecture)
    • experience with Photoshop
    • knowledge of game modelling and texturing techniques scripting (maxscript, mel, lua etc) experience beneficial
    • highly organized and articulate, detail focused.


    Special Effects Artist


      Strong Portfolio with examples of:
    • In-game visual effects (explosions, bullet hits, environmental FX…)
    • In-game sequences involving visual effects and destructible/animated FX orientated props


      The candidate must have the following experience:
    • Real time effects utilizing particle sprites
    • Creation of textures needed for effects in Photoshop
    • Creation of elements and props for effects in 3ds max (and/or Zbrush)
    • CryEngine experience is a plus
    • Understanding of real time next-gen game techniques such as shaders, normal mapping

      The candidate will ideally have the following qualities:
    • Strong communication skills
    • Able to work as part of a team
    • Be a keen gamer.


    Level Designer


      Position Responsibilities:
    • Designing detailed, 3D levels for the game, as documented by design document.
    • Working closely with art and programming teams
    • Developing schedules and time estimates for tasks with the Lead Level Designer
    • Research to acquire new knowledge

      Position Requirements:
    • Strong passion for creating immersive, high quality video games
    • Ability to analyse competitive games and identifying strengths and weaknesses
    • Ability to quickly master proprietary tools and development processes
    • Technically-inclined and hands-on level building and scripting skills.
    • Superior communication skills, including the ability to communicate creative ideas through written materials, sketches, drawings and other illustrations
    • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
    • Capability of working as both, as a team member and individually with minimum supervision
    • Convincing presentation skills

      Bonus:
    • Fundamental knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g. 3DSMAX and Maya) and 2D art software (e.g. Photoshop and Illustrator)
    • Experience with Unreal3 or CryEngine game development.

    Senior Programmer


    The Senior programmer is an exceptionally talented, ‘all-rounder’ who has the ability and passion to really ‘own’ and drive key areas of their game’s code-base. We are looking for a key member of the game focused team.
      Position Responsibilities
    • Design, define and develop the next generation of multiplayer internet gameplay.
    • Provide hands-on technical expertise to define and develop networked simulation techniques and to have a direct impact on leading edge multiplayer action gameplay.
    • Interact closely with designers, artists, and animators to bring the vision of the game to life
    • Co-develop tools with artists, animators, designers and our core programming staff
    • Reliably create good quality, performance-minded code
    • Follow the task list and schedule for responsible work
    • Assist in the sharing of ideas and exploration of new practices to continually improve the quality of game development within the company
    • Maintain a professional attitude during all stages of development
    • Excel as a team member and strive to maximize team and departmental performance

      Position Qualifications/Requirements
    • Strong background in Math
    • Clear understanding and appreciation of schedules and milestone
    • Passion for making and playing innovative games
    • Must have proven track record with mods or shipped titles, preferably multiplayer FPS

      Technical Requirements
    • Excellent C++ Skills

      Soft-Skill Requirements
    • Good communication and problem solving skills
    • Team player
    • High flexibility and eager to learn new methodologies
    • Ability to make accurate estimates on design and implementation of systems programming tasks
    • A passion for games, attention to detail and a desire to create outstanding gaming experiences

      Bonus
    • Enjoy working across multiple disciplines
    • Cross platform development experience.
    • Shader language familiarity (HLSL, Cg)
    • Any experience working with common middleware packages
    • Network/Physics/Graphics game programming experience
    • Experience with LUA script language.

    Physics Programmer


      Requirements:
    • Programming experience with emphasis on physics and/or vehicle dynamics.
    • At least 1 project completed on PC.
    • Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
    • Knowledge of .XML language
    • Ability to work within a schedule.
    • Ability to work well as part of a creative team.
    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
