Basic description
The Mauler is the Federated Commonwealth code name for this DCMS assault Mech. The Draconis Combine has maintained high security around the project and all available information about the design is pure speculation to all but top military DCMS officials and engineers.
According to the most recent intelligence, the Mauler is a slow but advanced design that features 2 armed mounted Extended-Range Large Lasers, 4 Auto cannon 2’s in the torso, and a pair of shoulder mounted LRM 15s.

Outline
Players will find that the Mauler functions more like a Siege engine than anything else - slow heavy, and lightly armor. However, it has all long range weaponry that all have quicker recharge times than other weapons of their tonnage. Each of these weapon systems have been stock piled with ammo and heat sinks in order for the Player to just lie down on the trigger for a lengthy amount of time. The Mauler is best suited as a fire support platform to lay down a constant barrage against enemy lines.
