Basic description

The Commando has been designated as the standard light ‘Mech of the Inner Sphere for the second half of the thirty-first century. Though production of the other designs continue, this light ‘Mech is expected to appear on every frontline against the Clans. The Commando utilizes an ultra light Endo Steel and a high grade Ferro-Fibrous to protect itself. Even though it uses only 3 tons of armor, its additional Cellular Ammunition Storage provides ample room for extra ammunition and sustainability on the battlefield.
The primary configuration utilizes the extra ammunition storage to benefit both its SRM-6 and SRM-4 launchers. Additionally, it holds a Medium Laser in the left arm for extra firepower against light armored targets.
With its cheap materials and low cost of weaponry, the Federated Commonwealth has produced a great number of these units and has been distributing these ‘Mechs in bulk for the entire Inner Sphere purchase. The Commando is the lowest cost Battlemech within the Inner Sphere.

Outline
The Commando is one of the best anti-infantry and anti-light vehicle Mechs on the battlefield available to the Player. Armed with an SRM-6 launcher in the center torso and an SRM-4 launcher on the right arm, the can easily to flush out enemy troops from cover or lay down a continual barrage against light vehicles attempting to flee. Additionally, the Commando carries a Medium Beam Laser for extra firepower against enemy vehicles. However, the Commando is ill-suited against anti-vehicle fire and the player should be cautious if enemy Mechs are spotted the area.
