Old NetMech/Kali/PPP/Zone/MPlayer People?

Shadow Rat Marauders.. don't you folks EVER die?!

(SRM)Gremaldy here.  Played as a member of Shadow Rat's Maruaders from Netmech on Kali to MW3 and MW4 on the Zone.  Still remember a few names but mostly they escape me...

The few names I remember, SRM of course, DaCobra, Ulrich, Kristov_K, Streak, and Trendkill.  Deep-End sounds familiar but I can't place it (I'm getting old I guess...).
Been looking for old SRM members for awhile now, especially the guys from MW4 as that's where I spent most of my time in the cockpit.

Hello everyone!  I'm glad to see so many of the old school Kali/netmech group still alive!  So many familiar names!  I would love to see more of the old crew resurface and start to to touch base again!

Hey, here's another old hand from Netmech. I suppose I did play as Jawa or JAWA already back then?

Was diamond shark at one point, and some other too. Hard to remember by now. I remember I used
to hang out with ppl like Dogpound and Cobere at least. I remember seeing many of the ppl mentioned
here around. I was never really very active in general chats, so I guess not many ppl will remember me.

I'd love to get in touch with ppl that used to play back then.

Those were different times, in the beginning I only had like 5 hours/month to use internet on 28.8k dialup.

Yay another <WC> shows back up.  Nightflyer good to see you.  I hope shockwave shows back up as well.... I still owe him  a huge apology for DFA'ing him as my wingmate agains Comstar.   (it was confusing there were two Shockwave's in the battle... my wingmate and a Comstar shockwave.)

Hey Dukes always good to see another <WC>er, This beta is awesome and I am looking forward to it going live .  As for shockwave we played together on other leagues and other  MMOGs, Have not heard or seen him in at least 8 years whew.  I also hope he shows up it would be nice to blow things up again "evil grin".

I arrived at the tail end of MW2 and was NPxGrendel in MW3 & MW4 before leaving the New Belt Pirates for Clan Ghost Bear.

I was on Kali with the callsign "Attila", active mostly in the European League (netmech) then I skipped MW3 and played in MW4/Mercs using various callsigns, including N'SallaNuto.

I used to play MW2 and descent 1-3 on Kali Years ago. I was one of the newest kali members though, and everyone always made fun of me cause of my high serial number. I still have that kali install, and it still works to this day! w00t! I used to play on mplayer too, but I found Kali to be much faster and funner, less robust ya know?

I think I've done the same as you folks. Just had a strange flashback and Googled to see if anything was out there. Soooo many names from, what, 15 years ago. The SRM had a site with photos of all of us, but I suspect it bit the dust a long time ago. My jet-lagged self remembers Clan Godzilla as well - Trajun (?) and KingToady are, sadly, all my middle-aged brain cells can recall.

And who can forget 'Nsane'... first name I remembered when I was thinking about this. He'll be in his late 30s now, early 40s like the rest of us. If only I had remembered to keep some screenshots of the chat and games from those days - MW2/Kali was ground-breaking stuff, but we didn't realise it at the time. What I do remember is trying to fit into the predominantly Aussie/NZ membership of SRM, the predominantly USA MW2 community for challenges, and staying up till the sun was on the horizon, racking up a monstrous phone bill on the 28.8!

I used to play MW3 on the Zone waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day...everyone had Dial-up or poor dsl so the lag was horrendous. I remember being very confused by having to lead the targets with my weapons....

I was so young back then...but they still let me into Clan Wolf. I was, if I remember correctly... CW_sib_Jawolf...or something like that.
