I haven't had a chance to try Frostbite despite the fact I've played a fair amount.  I have played the new Inferno a great deal and I have mixed feelings about it.  I do think it is an improvement over the old in many ways but I feel it's a little too spread out.  Usually only one base is used for spawning on either side; this seems to be a bad design.  Actually, I think if the map was shrunk it would completely solve any issues I have with it. The terrain itself allows for some interesting opportunities, but it's just such a pain in the ass to get to the battlefield sometimes.  There have been occasions where I have not payed attention and ended up in no mans land or just wandered looking for enemies for 15 minutes straight.

The new Extremity is definitely a huge improvement.  It is much more enjoyable and easier to navigate.  It still has not reached perfection but it is getting better.

My favourite is clearcut, with Sandblasted a close second.
Never had a chance to try frostbite, as it seems the servers that does have players on dont have that map in the list.

Also I recently installed 3 new user created maps, Pallisades, Desolation and Paradise, which I would like a chance to try out as well. Problem is that the servers that do run these maps seems to be deserted all the time.

Inferno and Marshes are the 2 maps I prefer to not play on.
At the beginning of a match I prefer to run in a tank, and these 2 maps are not very tank friendly.

Inferno its far to easy to suddnely have the ground dissapear underneath you as you suddenly wihtout warning come to the end of it and run into a lavaflow and get stuck, and alot of the times forcing you to abandon the tank and either suicide to get money for a new one or run around as a BA and try to get money for one.

Marshes are fine as long as you run a hovertank, but the tracked ones you end up driving underwater with no idea whatsoever where youre going.
Also, its far to easy both with tanks and mechs to gt stun in all the trees around there.
Last time I checked it would take more than a mere tree to stop a 50 ton mech going at 70 KPH.

I used to HATE inferno,,, i allways fell into lava everywhere and couldn't get out..

I like inferno much more, but it becomes silly fighting over the same choke points...

the new clear cut is too small.  I don't like lrm boating, but ams took care of that.   I think the old clear cut wasted allot of space on the sides that didn't get used much...

no opinion on extremity.

I don't notice much change on marshes..   still one of my fav maps.

sandblasted is ok..

love frostbite, but not enough servers are running it..

love the 2 player maps i have,  palasaids and paradise.

cheers!
