How sure are you there wasn't a stealthy BA behind you guys hitting you with a Flamer?
If that's not it, I have no idea =\

Did you overheat during the Day/Night cycle?

What was the internal temperature of the assets you where driving before you overheated? The Internal Temperature should be at +125˚ during Day time / 0˚ during Night time, and the External Temperature should be at +125˚ during Day time / -150˚ during Night time.

I honestly don't remember what the TOD on Extremity that time...
There was NO BA.  I know what you mean but that was not the issue.
Both of us were totally surprised.  We could not replicate it after I mentioned it to both sides in the chat window....

I have, on rare occasion, found myself in a Mech manufactured by Toyota in that the MASC system gets "stuck on", and unless I notice and tap the SHIFT key, my mech will keep heating up until it shuts itself down, usually in combat. >:|

Did the mechs in question have MASCs installed?
Win XP SP3 32-bit
vanilla Crysis 1.21 (no other patches or mods)
4GB RAM (1GB swap file)
AMD X4 965
ATi 4890 (10.02 drivers)
Creative Audigy 2 ZS

Yep, I had the same. With Uller on Marshes yesterday (while fighting with you Kit)

The MASC got stuck.

On the other hand.... it's a feature, not a bug.

I thought I experienced this on inferno pre-patch.  I would get stuck in lava, exit the lava, but despite massive coolant dumps could never get the mech to stay on.  I kept overheating.  It happened 2-3 times but I chalked it up to flamer or PPC fire.

That happens if the Client has not been registered as leaving the heat zone by the server. You'll need to re-enter the heat zone and exit again to get rid of the heat rising.

The initial post is of another nature and is directly related to Extremity. Please add only comments directly related to the BUG, elsewhere the post will be flooded with irrelevant data.

Can this be reproduced or was it a one time incident, e.g. a glitch? Sometimes such issues is purely related to the clients keyboard :P

Yes, I know this problem.

To the devs: No, its not reproducable, usually happens after minor damage to the legs. Sometimes its just happening.

To the players: Powerdown, get out, get in, power up -> usually all fine again. If not: mechbay, repair, get out, get in, power up, all fine for sure.

Edit: Same for the weapons-loose-calibration-bug. Same steps like above, usually works.
I you were going to shoot a mime, would you use a silencer?

I have had this happen to me multiple times (specifically in beta 0.2.0, although potentially before as well), but have been unable to duplicate the issue purposefully. I do know that the shift key (default) is not physically sticky, although I can't rule anything else out.
