3. Concept Art

We here at the MWLL team are proud to present the concept art by our resident Artist - Sherrell. He has composited all the ideas discussed among the team regarding the over all look of our infantry models .It is important to note that there is very little reference as far as infantry goes in the battletech universe, as such, we had free reign when it came to creating our character models. Sherrell put these ideas to paper for our modeling team to work off of and below is the collection of our completely original Clan Player Model concepts.

4.  Dev team

Not only did the dev team receive great support from the community and partners in the last few months, we are also able to welcome new manpower to the team.

Ambassador of Pain (AoP) has joined the team and comes from the same gaming background as Criminal, Kamikaze, Keys and Effe. He has taken on quite a bit of administration responsibilities and is now leading the charge in a push to find better and faster ways to update the community. One project that AoP has been working on is the new Newsletter feature on the site, with which we are basically trying to keep the community as up to date and as interactive as possible. When push comes to shove this game is for the community and as such we need your input!

Another recent addition is Killgar who was the lead on a battletech half-life 2 mod, who brings with him some assets in the form of vehicle and battlesuit models that are currently being fitted appropriately for the mod.

We’d also like to welcome Rapture who is currently a 3D animation student working on a short Mechwarrior film! He has donated his time to generating some fantastic low poly meshes that can be viewed in the WIP gallery.

Finally, we’d like to welcome Wolf74 to our team as our much needed Battletech Consultant. He has consulted on other battletech related projects and no one on the team has a more thorough understanding of the universe.
